District Marketing Manager

Though my career at United Rentals was brief, my impact could only be viewed as positive. Unfortunately, just nine short months into my tenure as a District Marketing Manager, my position was eliminated following a strategic M&A and subsequent redistricting strategy.

During my time at United Rentals, I was responsible for the localized marketing efforts at 11 showrooms and one warehouse location. I managed a district-wide, used-equipment campaign that grossed over $5.5 million, which represented a 9.34% increase over the district plan. Additionally, I engineered a winter supplies campaign that recorded $615K in revenues in the first 60-days, as compared to just $875K in revenues for the previous year's entire 5-month season.

Upon my termination, I was offered the opportunity to apply for a marketing position at the company's corporate HQ located in southern CT. However, I declined, having just relocated my wife to Central New York (from Long Island) and being just two weeks away from the closing on our newly built home.
